The establishment of consultancies for protecting mothers and children in Nadezhda residential area is a practice under a project of the international humanitarian organization, Doctors of the World . The project was implemented as a pilot on improving the status of the minorities. The grand opening of the consultancies was on April 14, 2005.

The Municipality of Dobrich City and the Hristo Botev General Education School, Dobrich partnered in using attractive and mutually complementing projects to make children and parents party to the idea of Bulgaria's European integration and to build young people's confidence of Europeans.

The purpose of the project was to expand the social services available to people with disabilities and to create new opportunities for sustainable employment and for improving their work skills. This was to be achieved by consolidating and developing the existing centers, the Social Integration and Rehabilitation Center, the Information and Training Center and the Information and Administrative Services Center. The project resulted in: 1. Expansion and delivery of social services (legal and psychological consultancies; rehabilitation; personal assistants; home care); 2. Hiring of experts to meet the special needs of the target group; 3. Training to meet the needs of the newly created positions; 4. Purchase of support equipment for the needs of the newly employed disabled persons.

Aiming to reduce the pressure over the local labor market by affording an opportunity for employment and professional development to unemployed youths with low education and qualifications in Pleven municipality, including youths from the minorities, was organized two months training practice for youths as building workers with forthcoming employment in building-repair works and as building project guards, during the practice was also restored Storgozia fortress situated in Kaylaka park in Pleven an ancient archeological object, proclaimed as a cultural monument with national significance.

Aiming to support the approbation at regional level of the European values and practices in the context of the criteria for joining Bulgaria to the EU was established free information zone to stimulate the development of the Europe integration processes through Regional information centre Europe in service to the Pleven region. The center provides information-consultant services on questions of Europe integration; popularizes and carries out trainings for increasing the knowledge about EU.

Dobrich town municipality and Hristo Botev primary school in Dobrich are playmates in the process of drawing children s and parent s attention to the idea for European integration of the country, build European self-confidence in the youths by attractive and mutually complementing projects.

On the occasion of the international day of Danube river June 26, 2005 in Svishtov municipality was organized for a second year in a row a round table on subject Danube river from a boundary to bridge between countries and people. The participants from Bulgarian and Romanian side signed a memorandum, according to which the efforts of both sides will continue every year in order to achieve real integration in the region Svishtov Zimnich Aleksandria.

The practice "The Bulgarian village European challenges and perspectives" is part of the program for celebration of the Europe Day in the Municipality of Sliven 2004, dedicated to the people coming from the little villages in the municipality. It filled the former lack of information and enriched the people with specific information about the village regions in Europe.

The practice One Europe Many Cultures is part of the program for celebration of the Day of Europe 2004. The main ideas set up in the program were supporting the affiliation of the citizens of the Municipality of Sliven to the idea of a United Europe; the celebration of the Day of Europe becoming one of the traditional holidays in the municipality under the motto "European days in Sliven 2004 a tradition with future". The accent was on the variety of cultures in United Europe.

The practice Euro Days in Sliven 2004 tradition with future is part of the program for celebration of the Day of Europe. Through its realization the EU is being popularized among the citizens of the Municipality of Sliven and it also helps their affiliation to the idea of United Europe and the discussion of the problems of eurointegration; the information stock about the EU programs has increased with specific accent on each target group. The celebration of the day of Europe was established as one of the traditional holidays for the municipality under the motto Euro Days in Sliven 2004 Tradition with Future. For the fourth time the celebration of this big European holiday was carried out in our city, but for the first time spread outside the city.
