By tradition an accent in the celebration of the European days in Sliven was on interesting cultural program, including visits from famous performers and authors, as well as a presentation for the foreign guests on the achievements of the local artists and the cultural potential of the City of Sliven. An important precondition for this was the celebration within the same period of the May days of culture and of two brilliant festivals the children s book festival and the international children festival for folklore dances. The City of Sliven and the villages of Biala, Novachevo, Seliminovo, Nikolaevo, Krushare, Blatetz, Glufishevo, Samuilovo, Gavrailovo and Jelio Voivoda were pleased to meet the talented young performers coming from some of the European countries and that was the finale of the European days in the Municipality of Sliven 2004, under the motto One Europe Many Cultures .
The cultural events of the Europe Days in Sliven were attended mostly by young people. The reason was the exceptional engagement and enthusiasm, with which the children and youths from Sliven participated in all European activities and celebrations.
The realization of One Europe Many Cultures enriched the ideas of the cultural variety of United Europe of most of the citizens of Sliven, also by accentuating on the values of the Bulgarian cultural traditions.
