Dobrich town municipality is the only Bulgarian municipality, which elaborated and in the moment implements Program for realization of public utilities enterprises on objects municipal property, with the participation of the citizens of Dobrich. In the elaboration of the program the municipal administration attended the idea to create real preconditions for civil community formation, and together with the implementation of the mechanism of public-private partnership citizens to take part in the construction and supporting of the public spaces parks, gardens, pavements, squares and others by their own means /as co-financing/ or with their labor.
The program has been accepted by the Municipal counsel of Dobrich town municipality with a Resolution in January, 2005.

On the territory of Botevgrad municipality (the town and 12 more villages) live about 4000 roms. A significant percent of this population lives in the town of Botevgrad and consists mostly of young people. Young roms are in need of direct engagement in the sphere of folklore, art and culture. That engagement stimulates them in their education and for further professional realization.
Observing that aim in 2004 we established dancing band "Roma youth".

In 2004 an initiative group of students from the schools in Svishtov established their own organization City Students Counsel. For a year now the organization actively participates with its initiatives in the cultural, sport and social life in Svishtov municipality.

The project aims to build a sports ground in the village of Vardim, designed for school and out-of-school sport practices. Through this project realization, the young people would have the opportunity to gain and develop skills in various sports soccer, handball, basketball, and volleyball. The new sports ground assured the successful implementation of the sport classes and the out-of-school sport activities in the village.

Since November 2002 a literary, art and drama and table tennis clubs, named Interest Clubs, have started operating in Mezdra, organized by the Youth association in the town. Girls and boys over 15 years of age participate in them. Engaging in activities the field of literature, art and sport, they enhance their knowledge and skills.
