The Community Council on Access and Integration within the Sofia Municipal Council prepared a set of criteria for provision of municipal property to non-for-profit organizations working in favor of socially disadvantaged people. The criteria were discussed and adopted by the Sofia Municipal Council.

Summer Center for Preventive Social Activities Sliven was founded because of the concern of the local community for ensuring favourable conditions for children s upbringing in the municipality. The Municipality of Sliven together with Most Foundation try to promote an Ethical code of behaviour and to create a stable interest in personal growth in children from social groups in risk.

A public multi-functional center was set up to provide services of educational, social or legal character in Veliko Turnovo, combining a modern work environment, consultancy services and social enterprise. The Resource Center was developed with the joint efforts of international and national donor programs, local business resources, media and information campaign and the in-kind contribution of 5600 sq m of premises by Veliko Turnovo Municipality.

The first step in searching for alternative solutions for the unemployment problem in Omourtag was made. Young people at the age of 18 to 30 were acquainted with the functions of local government and NGOs, and the possibilities for personal realization through Civic Education training, seminars and consultations with the Labour Bureau, an economist, a lawyer and meetings with representatives of NGOs and government officials.

The Public Council for Social Activities and Child Protection was set up as a consultative body to the Municipal Council and the municipal administration in Municipality of Stara Zagora. It was established on the initiative of NGOs working in the social sphere with the strong support of the municipality. It aims to coordinate activity and create partnerships related to the implementation of social policy and provision of social services.

Children s Day Center in Voivodovo village, founded by Hristo Botev Culture Centre in Voivodovo and the Municipality of Mizia, is a model for a modern children s facility developing skills and personality. The well used time at the Center counters the negative social trends, the threat of drug use and aggression. The Center is one of the biggest investments in children s development.
