On March 23, 2006, at the Round Table on Improving Regulatory Framework for Business on Local Level in Hilton hotel in Sofia were announced the results of the FLGR's first 2006 Innovative Practices Competition on the topic Municipal Initiatives for Local Economic Development. The Winner is Municipality of Rakovski for its Practice Industrial Park Development - a public-private partnership.

The round table was organized by the Foundation for Local Government Reform and Reform of Politics Team within Local Government Initiative Program and was funded by USAID.
