About 150 people participated in the swimming across the river. Among them there are people from a several generations, ageing from 10-11 to 70-80 years. Many women participate as though and whole families, for which are ensured special prizes. Besides the popularization of the swimming sport this day becomes a good school for younger life-guards, because they have the chance to try in practice what they have learned in these courses, and the life-guard hobby can become a profession for a lifetime for the most ambitious ones. Depending on the climate conditions between 500 and 1200 people spent this in the nature.

The swimming holiday gives a chance for relaxation and departure of the every-day obligations, and this has a great positive effect on health, especially for those who spent a bigger part of their time in closed premises and in front of the computer. For a first time the swimming across the river was announced and popularized on a national level as a significant event of a regional scale, which reflects in a heightened interest from participants. Medias, citizens and officials.
