Initiator of the project idea was the “Tourism” working table within the framework of the “Forum” Program.

At the sixth forum session in Chepelare the idea was approved, taking into consideration the necessity of reliable and up - to-date information about the tourist services in the municipality that would help for attracting potential tourists from the whole country.

The idea was to move the Tourist Information Center to a more appropriate building, suiting the better provision of information to the tourists.

The new building is situated in the center of Chepelare, also it is very close to the bus station.

The idea for beautification of the hospital was approved at the fourth session of   "Community Forum” Program in Lom Municipality. “St. Nikolay Chudotvorets” hospital has 125 year history and serves the population of five municipalities. The main goal is ensuring appropriate conditions for relaxation and visitation of patients in “St . Nikolay Chudotvorets” hospital.

The idea for construction of own draw - well and irrigation system was approved at the fourth session of “Community forum” Program in Lom Municipality . The main goal is creating conditions for optimal maintenance of existing and new green areas in the central town part.

The idea for public utilization of the inter-station area was approved at the fourth session of “Community forum” Program in Lom Municipality. The main goal is ensuring nice environment for youth’s and social relaxation by cleaning an area of 2700 dka in front of the railway and bus station and elaboration of system for garbage gathering from the object.

The project is aimed at the implementation of composting programs in areas of developed agriculture . Each municipalities decides how many composting sites to establish and where to locate them. A citizen information campaign is implemented as the sites are being prepared and equipped. Residents’ participation in the separation of solid from organic waste is decisive for the success of the project. The purpose is to reduce the solid waste disposed at landfills and to eliminate the small illegal dumps in the villages .

After the reconstruction of the fountain it becomes favorite spot for relaxation and social contacts for the citizens of Belogradchik.

There is a newly formed eco - path with the corresponding infrastructure, submitting more attractive exposal of the Belogradchik rocks. Through joining new and existing eco-routes was created new, complex tourist product which can be offered as a separate package. By the printed advertising brochure have been provoked the interest of Bulgarian and foreign tourists.

The tradition for yearly conduction of orientation competitions in town was resumed. There were elaborated new, contemporary maps for orientation competitions. It was challenged the interest of children and youths from the town and the region towards orientation – sport, developing physics and intellect. Purchased technique and equipment allows the conduction of competitions of any scale.

The integration of nature and historic tourist resources of the region in sustainable tourist product "Belogradchik – nature and traditions" increased the number of the tourists in Belogradchik municipality. Incomes from tourist services consigning raised by 20%. The quality of tourist information services have been improved by the created project materials. New category of tourists – fans of extreme experiences is attracted.
