On January 26, 2011 in the Municipality of Knezha a meeting of local NGOs with the team of FLGR took place within the project "Citizen Monitoring towards Effective Management of Public Resources”.

The results of a survey among the local businesses in the municipality for the assessment of public services at local level were presented.

The participants in the meeting expressed their satisfaction with the quality of services the municipality provided. Recommendations for improvement and enrichment of services were made mostly in the social field. The need of a home for the elderly was discussed.

Another area that needs improvement participants defined as "maintenance of municipal roads and street network”.

Municipalities of Kyustendil, Gotse Delchev and Knezha partner FLGR in the realization of the project.
