On March 23, 2012 FLGR in partnership with the Municipality Knezha held Volunteer Day.

The initiative started at 10 am in front of the City Hall and more than 100 volunteers participated, supporting the idea Knezha to become a more pleasant place to live. As a result of the initiative 182 coniferous and deciduous saplings and flowering shrubs in 50 different districts of the municipality in the Park "Gergana" were planted.

Volunteer Day was funded by FLGR within the project "Citizen Monitoring towards Effective Management of Public Resources ", funded by the America for Bulgaria Foundation.
