On July 7^th 2005, Thursday, Rossitsa Raycheva, FLGR, took part as a lecturer in the Summer Youth Citizen Academy that Utre Foundation conducts in the city of Peshtera. One-day work with the young people (15 - 17 years) was devoted to the local self-government basic principles, structure, opportunities and perspectives and e-Government.

Municipality of Peshtera is one of the ten municipalities working on the FLGR Improving Social Environment Program, funded by the Charles Stuart Mott Foundation, 2004 - 2006.

The young Peshtera leaders gave many interesting ideas on improvement of the interaction with the local government structures and of the life in their native municipality and town.
