FLGR conducted a seminar Basics of Local Economic Development on 19-21 April 2005 in the town of Vratsa. The training is tailor-made for the leadership of the municipalities which are part of the Project Local Economic Development and Marketing of Bulgarian Municipalities under the Technical Twinning Program, Phase V.

The seminar was attended by representatives of the local administrations and municipal councils of four municipalities: Vratsa, Gorna Malina, Lovech and Knezha.

The next two seminars on the same topic will be held in May for the other municipalities taking part in the project: Aksakovo, Targovishte, Gorna Oriahovitsa, Rousse, Biala, Bourgas, Yambol, Kazanlak, Kardzhali, Rakovski and Smolyan.
