Background
Project goals are:
1 . Students from the Haskovo Region, teachers and parents to gain skills for solving conflicts and overcoming aggression and violence at school;
2 . To draw attention towards cooperation between institutions, students, parents and teachers for fight with the growing aggression at the schools from the Municipality of Haskovo.
Practice
A DVD containing scenes from the performance and from the discussions was made. It was distributed in the schools along with the appeal for nonviolence and the poster for having a class on the nonviolence theme.The community supported the project and we still receive applications for discussions and trainings at schools; The Municipality of Svilengrad opened a crisis center by organizing a performance and a discussion for more than 450 spectators. The project was widely covered by internet and print media.
Results
This was the first project which was born under the initiative of the youths – volunteers at the Club UNESKO and it was entirely written and implemented by them.The activities under the project are applicable at every school. Only will and desire for communication between students, parents, teachers and representatives of institutions are requirable.
