The results of a research, held among the local population of Kozlovets evoked the idea for transformation of the existing Consultative Center as a part of the Community Center into a Cabinet for Informational and Administrative Service of Citizens.
So far existing Center for Rose-planting consultations was equipped properly in order to expand its sphere of activity. The project included hiring a specialist in informational and administrative services.
The Center for informational and administrative services of citizens was built up. As a result, the members of the local community received free access to the following services: copying; typing; printing; documentation processing; filling out administrative forms; printing of advertisements, calendars, postcards, obituaries, posters; Internet; administrative and law consultations; archive on disks, CDs, and paper; scan and picture development; lamination; making signs; software installment; program providing; maintenance of IT equipment, consultations on purchase and work with IT equipment.
Information Technologies Club
Konstantin Krumov, a member of the Community Center, initiated the Information Technologies Club, considering the results of the research held among the students in Kozlovets Middle School. The Club attracted 20 members. All of them received membership cards and developed a schedule for Club operating. Club meetings are held every Friday for two school classes total of 90 minutes. During the first class the students work and study, while the second period is set apart for fun computer games.
Publishing Activity
The project edited eight issues of the Community Center newspaper Razvitie@ in Kozlovets in circulation from 50 to 100 copies each. The newspaper publishes current events related to the Community Center activities, the Middle School, local authorities, local agricultural cooperation. It also covers public celebrations and publishes public and personal advertisements. There is a column for useful advises and spare time.
The Center for informational and administrative services provides a diversity of services, among which possibilities to use the Internet and supports the activity of an Information Technologies Club.
