Background

On the occasion of the International child’ s day – 1 June and the beginning of the summer holiday youths from Beloslav town in an open letter to the mayor of the municipality called the community and the local business to reconstruct together the open-air playground in the town center. The initiative was organized and implemented with the support of the municipality mayor Emil Dichev.

Practice
The initiative was supported by other neighborhoods in town as well , and the next reconstructed open - air playground was in “Mladost” neighborhood which was completely refreshed with new outfits, cradles and benches.

Results

With the implementation of the project idea, were elaborated projects for the next year in order to be reconstructed the open-air playgrounds in the municipality villages, and to be improved the condition of green areas and parks.

The local authority took part and supported the civic initiative as a partner , and managed to attract the business in implementation of a public-private partnership.
