Svishtov students Monica Varamezova and Georgi Stoynev received national reward from MM television for the song Our children and the video, made for her. The reward is bestowed for a first time at the Seventh yearly rewards of MM television, March 2005. It was adjudged to Monica and Georgi for their active civic position and compassion regarding the tragedy in Lim river, where 12 children from Svishtov died.

The national prize brought satisfaction to the youths for their work.

Youths raised their confidence and certitude, after seeing how one idea was realized in practice.

The trust towards institutions was raised in young people.

Institutions become more and more opened for youth initiatives.

New youth initiatives are planned, which would be implemented with the support of the municipality.
