Two trainings for building up organizational capacity of NGOs from the South Central planning region, incl. Stara Zagora Region, took place in January in the towns of Plovdiv and Stara Zagora. In the trainings participated executive directors and chair parsons of 30 NGOs.

During the trainings the themes were discussed: Strategic planning of the organization; Organisational and financial management; Organisational marketing and media relations.

The trainings on organisational development are a follow up of the trainings in local development and partnership, held in September – November 2008. In the first cycle of trainings took part representatives of 45 NGOs.

The organizations whose executive director/chair person has successfully underwent all the three modules of training, will be certified as a “Mediator between citizens and the local government”.

The trainings are part of the FLGR project "NGO - reliable partners for development", funded by Operational programme Administrative Capacity and co-funded by the European Social Fund.
