The third partnership meeting under the ALAVA Project (Adult Learning as an Added Value to the Activities of Community-based NGOs) was held in Regen, Germany in the period 20-24 February 2006. The project is funded by the EU Grundtvig I Programme and partially by the Swiss Federal Office for Professional Education. FLGR takes part as a partner in the project together with 6 other organisations from Germany, the United Kingdom, Poland, Romania and Switzerland.
The project is aimed to strengthen the capacity of the local community organisations and add more value to their activities through establishing adult learning centres within community-based NGOs.
At the meeting the partners discussed the preparation of the courses in Bulgaria, Romania and Poland, as well as the methodology for evaluation of the training. The trainers underwent thorough coaching in competences analysis, preparation for work, personal development and entrepreneurship. The hosts from the Regen Folk School presented their experience in working in e-learning projects and projects funded by the European Social Fund.
