During the week 13-20 February FLGR will host a study tour for 8 participants from Armenia, including local councils members and representatives of the Association of Municipality Councillors of Armenia.

The key components of the training programme on Strengthening Local Councils offer theoretical training, best practices sharing and information on topics related to the roles and responsibilities of local councils, relations between mayors and municipal councils, local government - community relationship, local council meetings procedures, decision-making process, citizen participation and public hearings.

The Armenian trainees will visit the municipalities of Sofia, Strumyani and Panagurishte and attend Council and Standing Committees sessions, as well as meet with colleagues to share practical experience.
