The Bulgarian National ePSINET Workshop on Public Sector Information Reuse European Tendencies and Bulgarian Perspectives was held at the Information Centre of the European Union in Sofia on 31 March 2005. The seminar was organized in the framework of the ePSINet Project, an Accompanying Measure funded under the EU eContent programme, which seeks to support cohesive approaches towards Public Sector Information (PSI) in Europe (http://www.epsigate.org).

The national seminar was organized jointly with the Foundation for Local Government Reform and covered topics related to the European tendencies in PSI reuse, the discussion about the transposition of Directive 2003/98/ EC on Public Sector Information Reuse in the Bulgarian legislation, as well as best practices and problems in the reuse of public information in Bulgaria. Representatives of relevant ministries, state institutions, municipalities, companies and NGOs took part in the event.
