FLGR and Utilities Services invite municipal experts and managers of municipal infrastructure projects to the training course “Management of contractual relations under FIDIC: International Federation of Consulting Engineers. Application of the FIDIC Yellow and Red Book in Bulgaria”. The course will be held on 22 and 23 April 2010 in Sofia.

The course intends to present to the practitioners, working in the field of public investment projects, the philosophy and the application of the FIDIC principles. The Yellow FIDIC Book deals with conditions of contract for plant & design-build, while the Red FIDIC Book deals with conditions of contract for construction.

The four modules of the training also include good practices and their application in Bulgarian conditions in realization of infrastructure projects, financed by EU funds.

Possible risks in management of long term infrastructure projects of great public importance will also be discussed.

The course will allow the managers and the members of project teams to acquire key skills for elaboration, management and realization of priority infrastructure projects under EU funds.
