On 10 and 11 March in Sofia's Sheraton Hotel will be held the 12th Conference on e-government "EFFECTIVE E-GOVERNMENT - Re-Engineering of processes". The forum, organized by ICT Media, NAMRB and FLGR will be held under the patronage of the Minister of Transport, Communications and Information Technology and the Minister of the management of EU funds. Special guest of the forum will be Mr. Simeon Djankov, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance.

 

In 2011, the event focuses on the development of e-governance in the country and the region, pursuing the parallels between the successful and challenging models of effective work of administration in serving the citizens and businesses, opens space for discussion on options for cross border cooperation and replication of successful practices in e-governance.

 

Representatives of central, local and regional administration, regional organizations and institutions, consultants and IT companies will share and discuss problems in the field of e-government, proven effective solutions and opportunities for further achievements.

 

Traditionally, the event will be attended by ministers, deputy ministers, chief secretaries and directors of IT departments, governors, mayors, deputy mayors and chief secretaries of municipalities, consultants, representatives of donor organizations.

 

12th edition of the conference aims to provide a platform for good practices and projects in all levels of administration, and announcing new strategies and plans for the development of effective e-government in Bulgaria and, last but not least, for a discussion between representatives central, local and regional administrations, donors and international organizations with a focus on administrative reform and e-governance.
