In the period 19 – 22 January 2009 the team of FLGR participated training on implementation of Common Assessment Framework (CAF) in the public administrations.

In the training the concept pf “total quality” and “management of the total quality” were presented. The history and philosophy of the CAF model and the CAF criteria were discussed. The ways of implementing the CAF model in the public organisations were examined.

Good practices from several European municipalities were discussed. The team of FLGR worked on specific practical cases.

The last part of the training was dedicated to the possibilities of implementation of the CAF model in the Bulgarian municipalities and the role of FLGR in the facilitation of the process of implementation.

The training is part of the FLGR project "NGO - reliable partners for development", funded by Operational programme Administrative Capacity and co-funded by the European Social Fund.
