The project idea generated of the lack of attractions for tourists’ free time. On the other side, information about what have already been done hardly reaches the tourists. Because of that reason participants in Forum – Teteven specified a project idea for creation of a new tourist product – attraction train “Workshop on wheels” will travel to special routes.
Main goal: Creating new tourist product which will prolong the tourists’ stay and will be a source attracting new tourists. Joining the efforts of many partners in order to propose and advertise mutually the tourist landmark.
Main activities: Purchasing inventory for the attraction train “Workshop on wheels” – pulling part, 3 wagons for passengers, covered caravan; Registration and supplying with license for exploitation; Developing the routes of the “Workshop on wheels”; Preparing discussions about the places and objects, included in the routes.
Achievements and results: The project implementation contributes for the increasing of the number of visitors of nature and cultural-historical objects, created to enrich the tourist supply in Teteven municipality. Co-operation and partnership within the frames of the project contributed for gaining experience for joint elaboration and proposal of tourist products. “Workshop on wheels” popularized local crafts - man, who can show their skills and products out of their shops.
