Background
The idea for the website renovation was born spontaneously and not only. The high school is developing - it already has two profiled classes; the access to school information, activities and teaching staff is easier. All these positive changes arouse the necessity of website renovation and publishing actual information.
Practice
High school “Vasil Levski”, Yablanitsa Municipality, is already an e-school: www.sou-Yablanitsa.org. After renovating the section “Actual” the programme for the official celebration of school anniversaries can be found. The section “Admission” contains information for the profiled school classes, the rules for forming the admission score, an application form which can be filled and sent online. The schedule of the main school activities is published in the section “Documents”. The section “We create” gives us the opportunity to learn more about outclass activities and students’ creative work and thus it proves that students can achieve anything they desire and can make their own day more beautiful, vivid, full of happy pictures, music and laughter.
We can also learn about the school history – from its foundation till nowadays, about the life and deeds of its patron - Vasil Levski.
The site also includes the school volleyball teams – boys and girls, the school football team, the dance group and the cheer-leaders.
The picture gallery shows children’s daily life at school; students’ works, drawings and pictures; their participation in different activities and the awards from competitions and Оlympiads.
Results
By updating this website a higher level of awareness about school activities was achieved: its life, the ongoing activities; quick and easy way for filling applications and receiving responses; news for the pedagogical staff, the teaching methodology and the ongoing lessons.
