At the end of the project we achieved:

• Partly improving and renewal of the infrastructure in the centers of all the villages in the municipality;
• Fifteen stops in the fifteen villages of the municipality;
• Formation of executive experience in mayors and deputy-mayors for the implementation of project activities and project management on place .
• Satisfaction of the village residents and transport firms of the improved infrastructure.
• On June 25, 2004 according to Veliko Turnovo's regional court's judgment was registered Edinstvo 21th Century Association of mayors from the villages in Svishtov municipality. The aims of the association are: development and approbation of the spiritual values, civil society and effective self-government of Svishtov municipality, increasing the role of the mayors and deputy-mayors as organs of the local authority and protection of the interests of the population in the compounding territorial units of the municipality.
