The project will be popularized by information campaign, which includes brochure dissemination, publications and interviews. In this way will be fulfilled one of the main goals of the project to popularize the idea for preservation of the environment by ecotourism development. By the information campaign and the organization of a conference, local population, institutions interested in the sphere of ecotourism will be acquainted with the biologic variety in Natural Park Persina and will be encouraged to preserve and popularize it. They will also be introduced to the possibilities for ecotourism development, which will preserve and use the natural resources. Economic activities relevant to manufacturing of an ecologically clean production will also be popularized. As a result of the project s implementation will be built interpretative spot on the shore of the Dunabe river, near by the territory of Persina Park and will be put indicative signs and a table with cards. This will improve the basic conditions for ecotourism development. By the training, which the project provides, persons and organizations in the sphere of ecotourism can improve their competency towards the tourist services. As a result of the organization of an exemplary eco-tour, participants in the project will gain skills for using eco-paths in the tourist routes, for the requirements of the ecotourism regarding the preservation of the environment, for the methods of presentation of the natural resources as a tourist attraction. The results from the inquiry on the impressions and recommendations of the participants in the project will be presented as a basis of future initiatives in the sphere of ecotourism. We expect the realization of the project to contribute for the transformation of Natural Park Persina and the Svishtov region into a preferred destination and to encourage local population for preservation and popularization of the natural resources by ecotourism development.
