The project idea for public utilization of the area in front of the mayoralty was approved at the fourth session of “Community Forum” Program in Gurkovo Municipality.

In the village of Konare live some 600 people. Precondition for the project’s implementation was the difficult access to public places in service if the citizens.

In the last few years the resources for maintenance of the park are not sufficient. The water supply and the lightning in the park cannot be repaired. Roots of bushes, trees and grasses ruined paths. There are no benches, wastebaskets and other utilities. In this condition the park could not be used by the citizens and represents very ugly, in aesthetical and ecologic respect, view.

The idea for public utilization of the school yard was approved at the fourth session of “Community Forum” Program in Gurkovo municipality. The atmosphere in the school yard is gray , low-spirited and ugly. The safety parapet is almost broken and needs to be replaced with a new one – stronger and nice.

There is created a spot for relaxation beside Lazova River, which becomes favorite place for relaxation for children, pensioners and guests of the town.

The idea for creation of spot for relaxation beside the river was approved at the first session of “Community Forum” Program in Gurkovo municipality. In the holidays many citizens of the town of Gurkovo go for a rest at Lazova River, but till this moment there are no spots for children and for relaxation with a barbeque. Visitors camp out everywhere and in this way create conditions for pollution of the environment with garbage.

The idea for public utilization of the town stadium was approved at the fifth session of “ Community Forum ” Program in Gurkovo Municipality . After the project implementation will be revived one old tradition of the town , namely “ Bio contest ”, which will be conducted at the stadium with donkey carts. Curious guests from the whole country come to enjoy the donkey demonstrations. In the last few years before the contest was closed, it becomes popular abroad as well.

The idea for transformation of a small park – municipal property – into a little oasis, where children could play was approved at the third session of “Community Forum” Program in Iskar region – Sofia. “ Druzhba ” neighborhood is one of the typical sofia neighborhoods with gardens and parks, which are not well maintained. The lack of places for relaxation and attractive children’s spots and outfits for play leads to a problem with the safety of children – they are forced to play on the street, and the citizens do not feel comfortable in the region they inhabit.

The idea for establishing a healthy environment in the yard of the gymnasium and in the neighboring areas for creation of good conditions for eco - education , sport , relaxation and labor was approved on the sixth session of “Community forum” Program in Lom municipality. After the research made by individual and group meetings between representatives of the School board at “Naiden Gerov” Professional gymnasium, School board at “Dimitar Marinov” Secondary school, NGO-Lom Association, Center for youths’ initiatives, “New generation” Youths’ eco-club, and representatives of local business and medias, was decided to unite and coordinate their actions in order to achieve lasting change of the eco-environment in the school yard, where educate students of two secondary schools and to form skills for responsible behavior towards nature and its ecologic management.

The idea for public utilization of a part of the main street of the town was approved at the fourth session of “Community Forum” Program in Lom Municipality. The alley is also known as “The Boulevard of lovers”. The main goal is beautification of an alley at “Slavianska” street – from “D. Angelov” street to “Sofiiska” street.

The idea for beautification of the old fountain was approved at the sixth session of “Community forum” Program in Lom municipality. Former well-to-do Turks have appreciated underground waters and have built fountains, which still exist nowadays in Lom. The first fountain, built by the contributor Ingili Hanum in the middle of XVIII century, needs repair and the idea for its beautification is widely supported by the Muslim community in town. The main goal is cleaning of non-regulated dung-hill in water-source zone, repair and beautification of old fountain at “Otets Paisii” street.

The project implementation established better conditions for physical realization of Belogradchik guests and youths.
